This policy explains which data we collect when you visit darmontadvogados.com, what we use it for, and what your rights are.
Last updated: October 2, 2026.
When you use the contact form, we ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional) and your message. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to follow up on it.
The legal basis is the performance of preliminary procedures related to a contract, at your request (art. 7, V, LGPD) and, to the extent this is exceeded, our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us (art. 7, IX).
Messages are forwarded to the firm’s corporate e-mail account, hosted by Microsoft (Microsoft 365), and are not stored on the website. They are kept only for as long as necessary to respond and are automatically deleted within 90 (ninety) days of the last contact. If the inquiry develops into a professional relationship, the data becomes part of the client’s records and follows the retention rules applicable to the legal profession.
We do not use contact form data to send marketing communications. This website has no comments section and no user registration.
Like any website, we log technical data about your visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages accessed, date and time. These records are generated by our hosting provider (GoDaddy) and by our content delivery and protection network (Cloudflare), which may also set strictly technical cookies for security and performance.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and operational (art. 7, IX). These records are kept for a short period, in accordance with each provider’s policy, and are not used to identify you individually.
The website’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers (Google Fonts), which involves transmitting your IP address to Google when they load.
This website does not use audience analytics, advertising cookies or social media trackers. The only cookies present are technical ones, necessary for the website to function securely (WordPress and Cloudflare), which do not require consent.
We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties. Data may be accessed by the providers that operate the infrastructure of the website and the firm — hosting (GoDaddy), content delivery (Cloudflare) and corporate e-mail (Microsoft) — only to the extent necessary to provide those services and subject to confidentiality obligations.
Some of these providers process data outside Brazil. In such cases, the transfer relies on the grounds set out in art. 33 of the LGPD, in particular contractual clauses and guarantees offered by the providers themselves.
This website contains links to LinkedIn profiles and external publications. When you access them, you become subject to those websites’ privacy policies, over which we have no control.

We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control to the website’s administration panel and authentication of our corporate e-mail. No system is infallible; should a security incident occur that may result in relevant risk or harm, we will notify the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the affected data subjects, in accordance with art. 48 of the LGPD.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the legislation. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
